For the next few minutes, I’m going to share four “keys” that when embraced, hold the potential to elevate you to a new level of confident living.

Confidence Key #1. Believe you are uniquely made for a purpose.

Did you know that being yourself is a huge key to enjoying your life and living fulfilled? The truth is, anytime we try to become like someone else, we set ourselves up to fail, because we aren’t wired to be like them. We each were created with a specific gifts, talents, and skills needed to fulfill our purpose. When we live believing we are uniquely designed, we set ourselves up for success.

Confidence Key #2. Believe that you don’t have to please everyone around you.

The more we need the approval of other people, the more likely we are to live less fulfilled. The truth is, we should never sacrifice our own authenticity to gain the approval of other people. When you and I are secure and confident in who we are, we live free from the need to please everyone around us.

Confidence Key #3. You don’t have to compare yourself to others.

It’s amazing how miserable we can make ourselves trying to do what others think we should be doing! You are unique, which means you are not (and never were) meant to be like someone else. You’re one of a kind. When we live a life filled with inner confidence, we will be free from the need to compare ourselves with other people. 

Confidence Key #4. You were not designed to fear of rejection.

One major reason why people hesitate to embrace their uniqueness and share it with others is the fear of being rejected if they do. I wonder how often the fear of being rejected prevents us from doing what we like to do or saying what we truly want to say? It really is all about how you see yourself.  We cannot use someone else’s abilities, personality, or resources to accomplish what we need to do – we must be true to ourselves.
