Happy people become better people. Happy people tend to be more loving, compassionate, courageous, and grateful. They are often more thoughtful, polite, and attentive to others' needs.
We all know happy and unhappy people. Which are kinder, gentler, more thoughtful, and considerate? Which are angrier, more impatient, and more intolerant?
Who do you choose to be?
The happiest people don’t necessarily have the best of everything. They choose to make the best of everything. Happiness is a habit; it is a state of being. Being happy yourself is one of the best things you can do to help others be happy, too. Happiness has a ripple effect far beyond a single individual. When you are happy, other people notice and are influenced by your joy.
Happiness is contagious. We tend to forget that happiness doesn’t come from getting something but from recognizing and appreciating what we have.
Happiness matters. It matters to the well-being of your life, those in your family, and the communities of people who experience your influence on various levels. Your happiness attitude matters - live your life by what matters most.
Intentionally Own It Reflection: Ask yourself, “What will I do today to create a positive ripple effect in the world around me?” This mindset is an inward choice.
