Psychologists tell us that the most intimate and influential messages we will ever receive in life come from what we say to ourselves, not what others say to us.
When we talk about ourselves in a positive way, we will begin to see ourselves in a healthy, positive way. We can improve our own opinions about ourselves simply by the way we speak.
I really challenge you to take this message to heart. You can begin by spending even just five minutes each morning - to declare positive things about yourself, your life and your day. You can combat the “broken record” and replace it with words that will produce a healthy self-image.
As you do, the truth will overcome the lies and you’ll begin to see yourself in a whole new way.
You are one person you never get away from. You are with yourself all of the time, day and night. You never have one minute away from yourself, not even a second - therefore, it’s incredibly important that we learn to have peace with ourselves. And one big way you can do that is by paying attention to the condition of your heart.
Speak words of uplifting truth into your heart.
You have tremendous worth and value, and that will never change. As you believe the truth within these words, it brings freedom to your life more than you ever thought possible.
